A human eternity spent on understanding why we're here and we're no closer to figuring it out, yet this album makes me feel more comfortable about that.

Proud of being a gay faggot that enjoys watching gay anime and shoving a dick up your ass. Keep whining about a band that is not even gonna read your retarded comment. Goodbye motherfucker with no life and reply again to show what a butthurt faggot you are. P.s: Let go of the dick before your start typing, otherwise you are gonna keep misspelling words.

This album is such a grower, for sure. I was really disappointed at first, but after a few more listens, you can appreciate the monumental beauty of songs like The Axe. Gojira, you fucking nailed it.

I didn't like this album as much as their others at first, as it was a step away from their more progish sound. It's definitely grown on me since then. I still think their other albums work better when listening to the entire album, but as far as individual tracks go, some of their best songs are on here.

predictable, filler, repetitive, unfocused, infantile. hence the title, right? then we agree.

On first listen, it's like From Mars to Sirius part 3. The overall sound is better than on the Way of All Flesh (especially the drums). The Link is still my favorite.

The change in sound too a little time to get used to, and it took me a while to process the songs, too. At first listen I was bored and feared they might have taken a wrong turn. After another few listens, however, I warmed up to it quite a bit. I'm not quite sure whether to call it a minor step down from their last two albums, or whether to say they've just progressed to a different point in their musicianship. Time will tell.
