The song became one of the most played songs on Brazilian radio in 2015. "Posso Ser" is part of the EP of the same name released by Lexa in March 2015. In September 2015, she released her debut studio album Disponível. Lexa experienced a higher level of recognition in 2018 with the single "Sapequinha". The song was included on the EP Só Depois do Carnaval (2019), which also contains the title track and a collaboration with singer and drag queen Gloria Groove entitled "Provocar".
