In 2020 - Montreal, multi-genre artist Lord Gasp (born Tristan Lafleur-Sabourin) breaks into the forefront of the scene with convention both locally and internationally as he takes over the underground with a total of 8 music videos and millions of views in just under a year.
His music and lyricism reveal a new dark signature sound with unusual cadences and flows diversified by a palette of different vocal tones; almost as if two versions of himself were fighting against each other recorded via a piece of audio. Lord Gasp is best known for his blend of rapping and singing styles in a dramatic way while using his background in cinematography to paint provocative images and help solidify his connection with his fanbase.
With the support of major names in the industry such as Haarper, Sxmpra, Itsoktocry and multi-million follower youtube channel ‘’T R A S H’’, he continues to add unexpected twists and turns to his ever growing discography, making it hard to put a label on him.
As of 2023 Lord Gasp has continued to solidify his place in the underground. Consistently placed at the top of Spotify Editorial playlists such Teardrop (1.5million likes), Tirade (500k likes) & Hyperpop (400k likes) amongst many more, with a listener base of 150,000 monthly and over 15 million streams on Spotify alone.
His debut album PUPA was released on August 4th, 2023.
