I hate to say this, but yes its true. It's mostly distracting and takes you out of the vibe as a stupid noise.

Seeing praise for this one everywhere got me excited but I don't get the hype at all

I can applaud them for trying to write an 11 minute epic, but there's nothing epic about this one. It sounds like it was cut from Load for being too boring, on an album that was already boring. And the self-references are kind of cringy

Most of the songs on the album are too long but ironically this is the best track from it.

I nowhere near thought the longest song on this would be the best, this is the best song theyve put out in a LONG time, especially compared to the other tracks on here that go on for way too long. Great song.

Man, those guitar harmonies made me fucking tear up when they came in. Best song they’ve made in a long time!

My partner started timing the song when it started while we were watching the global premiere - I was astonished when I saw that we were nearly 10 minutes in and it only felt like a few minutes had gone by. This is on par with "The Outlaw Torn", which has been one of my favourite Metallica songs for a LONG time. They tapped into something pretty incredible with this one.

this song reminds me " my friend of misery " for the lyrics, and " orion " for the guitar melodies
