if anyone does need more Million Dead style stuff, Frank formed Mongol Horde. Well worth a look.

Saw them 7/8 years ago, one of the most intense bands I have ever seen, simply incredible.

I'm 18. But I'm 19 on tuesday. Speaking of being all studenty and liking Million Dead, I used them as an example of Iambs in lyrics the other days - "Charlie and the Propaganda Machine." "Wil-ly Won-Ka Was A Cap-ital-ist Con-Fid-ence Trick-ster etc". HOWS THAT FOR NERDY

That's fantastic and all but I don't know anyone younger than 19 who likes Million Dead.

Maybe he's decided to make another hardcore band because the Tories are in power.

My problem is it sounds like Big Frank has hit 30, got married, and had kids. He loves life too much to make good music. Essentially.

The problem for me and his new solo material is that he sings too much about English rivers and how good England is when England is shit in many ways.

I saw that on his twitter. Gonna be heavier than MD but not like MD apparently. Looking forward to it.

as much as I love franks solo stuff and how big he is getting and how great it is to have a musician with actual talent getting in the charts and on the radio. a million dead reunion is completely and utterly never going to happen but.... id really love to see them just one more time.

Almost went to one of their shows in Cambridge towards the end of their career. Apparently only a handful of people showed up, I was pretty young at the time and decided not to go. Epic regret.

Sooo many variations of "Charlie + the Propaganda Myth Machine". It would probably be the number 1 track if there weren't so many wrongly named versions.
