He was born March 9, 1995 in the Ishikawa Prefecture. He passed away on July 23rd, 2015. Though the exact cause of his death has not been disclosed, due to the timing of the release of a song and various tweets, it is very much believed to have been a suicide.

In his lifetime, he was known for being a very influential vocaloid producer, gaining notoriety for his very distinct use of rhythm and arrangements. He worked with music label U/M/A/A (Universal Music and Arts) to produce some albums, as well.

Recently, the song "Young Girl A" from his 2013 album, Alive (生きる) received global acclaim on TikTok for its unique handling of strong themes of depression, suicide and melancholic behavior. On Apple Music , "Young Girl A" and Alive (生きる) ranked Number 1 in over 30 different countries.

His final posthumous album, "Therefor.", was produced, funded and arranged through a Kickstarter and published by his record label in 2019.

A lo-fi remix of "Young Girl A" by sasanomaly was later released in 2023.
