if you dislike The Tipping Point (album), you are objectively wrong. Sorry, but this is one of the best albums of all time, and if you disagree, you genuinely suck.

Более-менее нормальные альбомы 2004 - Everybody Loves a Happy Ending и 2022 - The Tipping Point. Ну и лайв 2006 года. Остальное неслушабельно.

Happy 30th birthday to Elemental! SO often overlooked and underrated by the public and fans. Despite it being viewed as "just" a solo album by Roland, it is anything but that with excellent writing/performing contributions from Alan Griffiths (RIP) and Tim Palmer. Roland was able to present some of his most well written songs, and blended a myriad of sonics from soul, rock, adult contemporary, groove-laden touches of R&B, Beach Boys inspired pop, and even some industrial flavors that seem to harken back to The Hurting. It is the perfectionist's DIY dream. Perhaps not as timeless as the first three albums, but it definitely deserves respect and praise. Here's to Elemental!

"The Tipping Point" (2022) is a great album! I guess it's close to impossible not to start singing along to "Rivers of Mercy", "Masterplan", "My Demons" or "Stay".) And even tracks that are not the greatest all have some pleasantries in them: like that muffled trumpet in the middle of "Please be Happy" or the little clever electronics here and there.

how they do still manage to surprise with their music is beyond me.. never too banal, album seems to be perfectly balanced and the music honest and represents who they are nowadays. Classy songwriting. The only thing i don't really like is the production which is surprising to me. That being said; if you're an old fan and/or have already listened to their glories of the past i gotta warn you though: this one is their blandest record i guess.. it's a little disappointing considering how much time has passed. Elemental is x3 times better than this one but still props to them for releasing it. I didn't have much hope left considering the ups and downs between the twos
