I mean, the first two songs of the album, FBX and Malevolent are djenty and tasty asf. After those two, there comes Bend and wtf? It just sounds like a djent cover of a Justin Bieber song.

Yeah dude when I want to listen to Harry Styles, I listen to Harry Styles. When I want to listen to djent however, I don't want djent mixed with Harry Styles.

This has been their style of music ever since Via though, i don't get your point.. if you want full djent listen to Via or another band like Meshuggah or something. I think Bend is great mix of styles. Don't come bash the band when you have more scrobbles for Harry Styles than Volumes lol

из коробки с привидениями знакомый саунд слышу я.. но не вижу клёвых сисек и фиолетовых волос.

I can't help but catch Via vibes across the entire album, sound of guitar is really vibrant, distinguishing and catchy, I'm really glad to get this album after Different Animals and No Sleep, they definetely went back to their roots (and that's certainly welcomed to me, as well as Like Moths to Flames), easily one of the AOTY for me

I feel like I must have listened to a completely different album. As somebody who's been listening to Volumes since The Concept of Dreaming, this has been a true return to form. I just don't know how anyone can listen to a song like "Happier?" and think: "Eh, that's unremarkable."

this album is decent on the first listen. Man on fire, into you, void, & weighted are my favorites

Your comment ''boring'' doesn't change anything anyway. There's a lot of listeners and demand for their music

happier? is a good return to form, I expected something more akin to 'coming clean' or even 'different animals', but it actually sounds like 'no sleep' part two, good stuff

my only gripe is that 'holywater' and 'pixelate' didn't make the cut, given the overall sound of the new record, these songs would've fit in quite well imo

this new ep is interesting, the first two tracks sound like sth from 'via', 3 and 4 are basically 'different animals 2.0' and the closing couple sounds kinda like 'no sleep', props to the boys for blending their past styles together

Via one of my favorite albums of all time, they become shit since that wigga left the band. The new nigga in vocals is not for this band he was decent in Bury your dead.

'Different Animals' really surprised me. Great album, they really stretched in this album and made it very eclectic. An amalgamation of different genres, to make great music. I dig this album a lot and can appreciate their progression as a band. Good shit. Definitely putting this album on spin.

Their newest album has won me over...totally unexpected. Musically speaking, it's their most interesting and mature sounding so far, for me. I dig the last two albums but this one takes the fucking cake boys.
