Yeah, I like metal very much, but i also like rock music. The Cranberries are 16th on my last.fm list. I also like the slow songs, not all, but some slow songs are nice. No Need to Argue is one of their better albums, so you wouldn´t regret it. Draconian is the best goth doom band their is IMO, and yes I can hear some Irish influence. You're a big fan of the Irish aren't you?

Evig Natt has made two studio albums for know. I haven't listened it as much as my topartist, but I like their style. Thanks for your recommendations, I didn't know the Crest, but Nell Sigland is a well known name for me. I will check them out. As for the Corrs, I only remember the songs Breathless, Would You Be Happier and Radio, but I like them. I will check them better out. They have a kind of similar style like the cranberries in my opinion.

Hey long time no talk to. This will sound like a damn stupid question but I'm curious about something. Are you a subscriber or are you automatically getting subscribed? Reason I ask is, I sent Angie a subscription a few months ago. Well, I only did it once and it appears she keeps getting subscribed! (she isn't subscribing nor is anyone else sending her a subscription) So, I'm just wondering if the same thing might be happening with you. :D

yeah, they're correct. It's not in the higher register of their voices, it would be the lower part. I'll try to find some examples/time marks on some older songs.

Ah! well I'm glad you didn't wait to get it. Ok, I really want your opinion on something. It's the song "Morning Star" (my fave on the album) from 2:30-2:57. I swear Sandra sounds like Sabine in this part. Especially towards the end. Can you hear it or am I just crazy?

Ha ha yeah, get where you're coming from about not listening to it on here. But wow! that's quite a wait, almost as long as the Canadians! I could never be that patient, as it is I have to slap my hand to keep from playing it from their artist page! :D

Ok, looks like it might be working now. My OS is too old for the scrobbling software. I have to listen to whatever last.fm sends to me. Otherwise, there would be a shit load of counts for all my artists. Have a great evening!

No growing for me! :P It took me right away. Yeah sometimes music does take awhile to grow and I do agree, you end up appreciating so much more in the long run. We shall see if it will be that way with the rest of the songs. I do really feel the guys are excellent musicians and they shall prove that once again. As well, Sandra will prove without a doubt she is the perfect vocalist and front lady for them. ; )

Ha ha, no it's just a teaser clip for the new song "I Come Undone" and it ends right at the beginning of Pete's solo (we'll just call that very poor timing!) I still don't know what to expect. I just know that they will want to try to veer away from what they did previously with Sabine. And you don't think this song is catchy? Man you are a hard ass! :P

Oh! Well that's understandable. Tristania is not going to be how it used to be now that their old lead singer left (Vibeke) I have no idea how it will sound with their new singer. It kind of nerves me. Haha

Oh yeah! Didn't Napalm delay the new Leaves Eyes cd? Hah as long as the CD is in my hands by the end of this year I will be happy. I have to wait until next year to get my hands on the new Tristania CD (Which is ridiculous if you ask me) Are you a fan of Tristania too?

(continued) wife, he literally placed his emotions into his drumming on the subsequent album "Vapor Trails". He was pounding the hell out of those drums, almost as if he was taking out his emotions on the kit itself. It even translated that way when I saw them on that tour. Even now, when he plays a song from that album his drumming style is transformed back into that mindset. There is such a look of determination and nearly anger on those songs (all introspective) I'm alomost expecting the same with Eli sand their music. Also, Max has Neil on his myspace friend's list. part of that is all of us drummers worship at the man's throne, but I wonder if another might be his set of double tragedies and how he coped through both of them. He even wrote a book about it entitled "Ghostrider, Travels on the Healing Road". he's an awesome writer and it's a great book!

I think the New Elis album covers are pretty cool. Someone pointed out that the regular version uses the same colors as the "God's Silence, Devil's Temptation cover. It seems appropriate that Sandra is on the covers. It's her first full length album with them and it makes a statement in that way. Plus much of it is auto biographical and introspective from her point of view. I have no clue about the symbolisms of the cover though. What are your thoughts on those? Also, I honestly don't think this will be a re-hash. Though it will sound quite a bit different because Sabine was very involved with all aspects of an album recording , as well her coming into writing and playing music on the "Griefshire" concepts. add to this Elis has been away for quite sometime, and I'm sure the music itself will be telling a story. That's part of the coping element with a musician. Place yourself and your emotions into your playing. When Neil Peart of Rush went through mourning the loss of his daughter and

Yeah I do know Elis. They are one of my favorite bands actually :) I am totally excited for their new album, but I am not sure when they will be releasing it. I'm totally anticipating this new album with Saundra cause I loved her with Dreams of Sanity and now that she is with Elis I'm really pumped :) Haha

Thank you. Yeah a couple of the songs do need to grow, but as I listen to the cd I feel like a person should listen to it from beginning to end. It sounds much better than random. It has a cohesion that I really enjoy. :)
