Okay, I'm back. Kind of. Been offline for a week and now I had to catch up with a lot of mail. XD Btw, I noticed that I had some problems with cached scrobbles, some didn't show up on the page. Back to the subject, I could have a huge lot of gay friends at university (I study languages, which is full of gay boys), but the thing is, I never make friends in there. Going out with people from your same university is a total bore, you end up not talking of anything else. Especially mine, people tend to become unhealthily obsessive over it. How did things go with the RAF museum, eventually? Any news? :) Oh and of course if you're planning a trip to Italy, just let me know, it'd be nice to meet. I like meeting people I knew from the internet, despite what some might say I forged a lot of beautiful friendships on forums, art websites or communities. :D

Uh, nope! Actually I don't even know them. What do they sound like? :0 Anyways, yep, you're totally right. And even without going as far as "biphobia" or "transphobia", I just don't get why gay men love stereotypes so much. They seem eager to go and fit into one, and god forbid they relate with someone who doesn't. And your principle of finding acceptance in rejection is 100% right: I do have more gay friends than straight ones, but we're all somewhat out of the scene. :P This week has been quite nice. First I took the first photo for my (umpteenth) new project, which was quite a challenge because it was my first nude self. Then on Friday I've been out on a trip, at last. I took some photos, had a great time and took a swim in one of the most amazing beaches in Italy. I'm enjoying the last bits of holidays before getting back to the adult world. :P Wish you luck for the RAF Museum, especially since it's a subject you love so much! ;)

The bitch is back! :P I've been offline for the week end, in a boring place too, so I was about to become murderous. XD I see the conversation went on without me subtly (or not?) trolling anyone, people are taking it seriously. Anyways, the gay scene is a weird place, like pretty much every subculture. Begging for acceptance but being very quick to ostacise. Oh well, it's not a big deal. I've been something of an outcast all my life, being the child of the only foreign woman of the small town where I spent my early childhood. Perhaps that's why I feel so rootless even now. Eventually I only saved one photo of Cassiopeia, the others weren't that nice – that was my first night photogtaphy experiment, after all. And yeah, I guess we get more variety in the stars throughout the year: the more southwards, the more constellations from the other emisphere you see. I wish I could go to South Afrieca or Australia to see the stars someday, it must be amazing to change perspective...

Yeah, and besides Evanescence fans just ASK to be trolled. Sometimes I read what they write and ask myself, was I like that too when I was a teen and kind of worshipped them? Thank goodness I discovered ToT. But well, at least tonight I shut the computer off and asked my mother for a lift to go out of town and see the shooting stars. I brought my old astrolabe along and had fun tracking constellations for two good hours. :P Your friend's project sounds cool, it's nice to burst the gay stereotypes. Personally, for some things I am a bit stereotypical (especially when it comes to being a girl's "gay best friend", that's a classic), but I tend to find myself a bit cut off most of the gay community because I'm neither muscular, tanned and with extra-short hair, nor a hipster or such, so I'm kind of frowned upon. It's nice to show there are other kind of people in the world. :D

Did it? How? :0 Perhaps it was just struggling to work because of heath? Glad to hear your friend's project worked out fine. I've got back to working to one of my own and I'm setting things up to get at least four works done by the end of September (it's a series of photographs, so I have to organise stuff with models and so on). But right now I'm so bored I stooped to arguing whether Evanescence are metal or not on Within Temptation's shoutbox. It's hard to get a life when you're in a remote place on holidays. >__<

Yay! Good luck with emplyment then. :D As for me, it's been a rather rough week but things seem to be settling down since this afternoon. Family troubles, creative block and stuff like that, but at least part of the mess is being solved. Thanks for asking. :) What about you?

I still have my first iPod too, even though it won't turn on at all anymore, even if to show the dead iPod icon. It's somewhere in a drawer with my old (and still working) 12-year-old CD player. Unfortunately I don't have my second iPod anymore 'cause it got stolen. :/

Yeah, same here. I carried mine all over Europe, back and forth. Of course, when it died I bought a better one, still I had so many memories with it. :/ I tend to bond a lot with my electronic stuff. My camera above all, but also my computer and all the stuff. I even give them names. :P

Oh, I seee! Sorry for not accepting sooner, all of sudden last.fm deactivated the email notifications. ò_ò Anyways, it's instant friend request when I see someone who likes the whole ToT discography but has a preference for Storm and FITW, we're an endangered species. :P I'm doing quite fine, thanks. And I totally sympathize for your iPod, I opened my old blog just few days ago and read a post about my first iPod dying. That was a very sad day. >__<

Hi. I've just read your "about me" section. I like the quotations taken from gigs. Seems that Emily Autumn really knows how to talk to her fans ^^ I only saw Nightwish after Tarja-era, regrettably (same as you, it seems). Btw. last Sunday I saw UnSun live, but I didn't enjoy it much.

a friend of mine gave me some of his cds, and then as i was searching for his lyrics online i came across this: http://www.mpeisgreekmusicfantasy.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1520 which is, admittedly, pretty handy if you don't live in greece and can't just walk into a store and buy his stuff. and i agree, greek is great; i'm having fun just trying to translate the song names
