If you're a fan of concept music I recommend Hazy J & the Wasted Daze. They've released two entirely different Rock Opera-esque EPs. Sold stoner and classic rock influences.

Ah sweet, sounds fun. I'm super excited about desertfest, it will be my first stoner/sludge fest. I've never really experienced a festival from an audience point of view, so it should be great.

Super interesting charts man! I'm kinda jealous that you're watching Avishai, I'd love to catch him live.

Yes, Iggy, I'm happy that you exist. Was great fun listening to your favourites. Avishai Cohen is a top favourite of mine. Again and again I love to watch and listen to his 2006 DVD "Live at the Blue Note". Ah yes. And the Diablo Swing Orchestra is totally different stuff, very inventive music. Meister ihres Fachs. Now and again I love to listen to this kind of heavy music as well. Thanks, my friend, and have a nice weekend!

I peeked into your shouts purely by accident...Belgium has GREAT beer(especially the fruit beers, Lambic, gueuze and Trappist ales...very idiosyncratic, and individual...my best friends aunt was Flemish from Brussels, and she was a pisser. Even though his family's mostly German (like myself).

Only thing that is really stupid is, that they close everything at 12 pm or so. German capital city, no party nightlife at all xD but who cares, lets start drinking at 3 pm and everything is fine xD And for seeing something of berlin you need to stay here at least for 3 days. berlin is BIG. not only a lot of people, also the expanse is huge. with car or train you need 2 hours to get from one ende to the other if you take the fastest way. So, see you next year ;D

ha, the video is great :D and i thought german bureaucracy is complicated. But your government is even better in complicating everything :) And well patriotism and germany is some kind of paradox. be patriotic and you will be called a nazi. we are some kind of learnign in school to be ashamed of being german. The only thing we are patriotic in is soccer... yeah totally great.. we have fucking good technologies, a lot of nobel-price winners and the only thing we are proud of is soccer. congratulations germany. And the internationality makes the Biermeile interesting for me, I tried something czech, german, scottish, cuban, polish, belgian... new mixes etc. Its outdoor, at just one big street ... 2km long, 86 countries, over 2000 sorts of beer and a lot of drunken people. you pay between 2,50 and 4 euro for a beer, thats okay for something special. We always share everything, so that everyone can try 4-5 sorts.

For example french: papillon.. not beautiful, spanisch: mariposa... not nice, and english: butterfly is even the worst one. the russish word is nice (cant write it ^^) So: not only in german, Schmetterling is a horrible word. But we have one BIG advantage: I think "I love you" - "Ich liebe dich" sounds veeery very nice in german. From all "I love you"'s I know the best. The rest can sound terrible as long as THIS is good :D Hmm well Oktoberfest... first fact: Everyone (I know..) in Germany hates bavarian people. First reason not to go to the Oktoberfest. Then, this whole thing gets more and more commercial every year. 1 Liter of beer (that is actually NOT strong, probably mixed with water) is between 8-9 euro, its full of stupid people, you have to have a reservation in the tents, otherwise you wont have any fun at all, the food is disgusting.. I don't think that I will ever visit the oktoberfest in my life. I prefer the beer-mile in berlin :)

Hey Iggy, hmm I don't think that there will be no more Tool albums anymore, but I was quite suprised when I heard one or two month ago that A Perfect Circle are going to tour and making music together, always thought this project is dead. For a new Tool album just helps waiting, waiting, waiting, but I'm sure it will be there one day ^^ I heard about the Machine Head concert in Hamburg, Germany; but there the band fucked the whole concert up und not the sound engineer... and well. I like German it can be beautiful, funny or serious and its a very old language with so many different used words in the different parts in germany, thats quite interesting. By the way Schmetterling - butterfly - was exactly the word the dutch guy mentioned to make an example for "any german word can be used as a black-metal band name". I would surely agree in a lot of words, but NOT with the world butterfly because this word sounds horrible in every language I know.

Yep, heard that rumors too... but I try to ignore them to get not too excited ;D I was also very happy when I heard that there will be (whenever) some new a perfect circle stuff. I always thought they would never make something again. Unsoul conerct was good, only bad thing: the concert was in a club that is normaly a electronic-club. The sound was horrible >.< German is strange. A dutch guy on the festival told me that german sounds so evil that you could take ANY german word and have it as a name for a black metal band ^^ You can't say that german sounds nice, but in some way I like it ;) And thinking and talking about beer all the time is nothing to shame about ;D After a long day or on a free day, drinking a beer is always the best thing to do at the evening! (my weight tells me, I had too much long or free days in the last two years xD)
