Yeah i got a chance to listen to it today. It's kinda weak really, definitely not their best material. There's a good live video of Anomie on youtube if you search it :)

yerrrr!! LOVE the O2 area, its fantastic! have you been yet? yeah he was good, not amazing, didn't address the audience once. lurvely hat (of course) and his band was fantastic. he played electric instead of acoustic and some of the songs were hard to identify as a result.

It's definitely good, I just suck at paying attention the first time round! And yeah, for certain bands, it's interesteing to read how they formed, or where they're from, sometimes it even makes a difference to the way I perceive them. For example just listening to a cd, you might not realise that one of the tracks was completely unplanned improv stuff, or something like that. Haven't heard the split though, I only have The View From This Tower...

Really? I heard of them through some random guy on a forum, they're one of those bands I know nothing about, except what they sound like. Good though. And yeah I've heard it... It was decent. But I haven't really had a chance to get into it properly yet. What you think of it?

Faraquet? You come out with some of the stuff that I thought I was the only fan of in the world, ever.

Mmm. The Johnny Cash and ray Charles biopics were both fairly shoddy. Gus Van Sant's Last Days is interesting but it's still conjecture.

Hey, I haven't heard the new Breeders but advance word is good. Speaking of Joy Division, have you seen Control?

ah. ive no idea wht i wanna do after lc, so i just went along to have a look. it was pretty cool. at the soudn engineering table they had this cool device that kinda behaved like a turntable. if you waved it around in the air you could scratch, it was class. hard to explain in words though
