I don't quite remember when was the last time I dropped a shout here, but still one of the most impressive diverse and interesting libraries someone in my friendlist has, gonna spend a good few hours "diggin" here when I find the time. Is the Run the Jewels collabo really that good? I need to choose between listening them or Lord Finesse and Percee P live...

Hello revfrank4! We saw that you have a pretty good taste in music and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmTj6CzmAp4 ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Hey Rev, sorry to hear about the laptop hope it's not an expensive fix. Thought you might be interested in some Kiwi sounds. If you're not already aware of it, New Zealand muso David Dallas has released his album The Rose Tint as a free download.

Hey Rev. Rufus and Chaka were staples in my musical diet when I was young. Now of course I consider both to be classics in my music library. For some reason a lot of Chaka Khan's music made it down under.... and later as a result of hers.... so did Rufus' music. What i know about this is vague to say the least but, Chaka Khan did a live show at The North Sea Jazz festival and it was recorded and released on the web (mid - late 80's I think?). That release is for me, one of the best live performances I've ever heard of Khan. Khan performs her own songs as well as songs she released with Rufus. "Until You Come Back To * Tell Me Something Good * Stay * Sweet Thing * Give me All * I Feel For You * Through The Fire * I'm Every Woman * Ain't Nobody ..... Until You Come Back To Me is a semi-acoustic sounding tune that just seems to kick my music tastes into sing-along overdrive every time I hear it and then it's followed-up with the slightly uptempo Tell Me Something Good that just tastes

like funky icing sugar. Khan is a music Goddess who drives me nuts! Rufus, from this end of the globe seem like the low-fi funk-soul brothers who went about-their-business relatively unnoticed but, the guys are f-ing awesome. Masterjam was another collaboration I have a particular liking for as well. I envy you with you Pops bro! Would be great to share ad talk about music through two different generations only to find an affinity.... I guess it's not that surprising but still.... makes for nothing but good music listening and sharing. Yeah I'm all good thanks Rev just working crazy long hours which I haven't been around much. Just come off a 71 hour week and looking forward to a weekend off to catch up on my life. 8) Next week looks like being a little more usual around the 40-50 hour mark.

let me know your URL when and if tumblr becomes a serious expression for you. TTD was recommended and sent to me by a wonderful contact so his music will be seeing a lot of rotation in the near future. I like Incubus to! Kind-of Rage Against the Machine and/or Faith No More sounding but in their own unique way. A Certain Shade of Green acoustic is a great little ditty. Yeah meshing-together is a great way to describe them-and-theirs. Be good rev!
