True. I suppose I may be a little bit guilty at times :P Actually I haven't given The Strokes much of a listen, so, I went to Spotify and did so. I like them okay. Are you a big fan?

Yes, it's amazing. Very well written comedy. I love the whole POV thing too, it works so well. Really clever and interesting. I just wish it was longer! The seasons are way too short :(

I've watched the first three seasons now, just about to start the fourth. It's brilliant, I'm really loving it. Thanks!

Thanks, mate. I like yours too. David Mitchell, right? Haven't really seen much of his stuff, but I love him on QI.

nah man i haven't. i have always wanted to though. i feel like the band now and their current line up wouldn't be the same as i'd imagine them to sound like when i was growing up but definitely still worth it. such a great metal band.

definitely. i saw them at a festival a few years ago with slayer and anthrax after i missed seeing them at a smaller venue months earlier. they were the best band of the day but it was too large of a venue for it to be as loud as i wanted/envisioned it to be. hope i get a chance to see them again. its amazing lemmy is able to keep going so hard after all these years of abuse and work

i think it is a common misconception in the states that 'post-punk', college rock, etc esp the british variants are just widely popular(get lots of radio play, etc), kindof like pop music is here. there definitely is a fair amount of people that like the music- it's just probably more rare to run into people into it out here than it is out there. i read something a few years back that mozz won like most accomplished british musician lifetime award from some column and thinking 'wow, i had no idea they held him in that high of regard". i live in tx and there are alot of hispanics, you would be very suprised as to how many spanish speaking hispanics are diehard smiths fans. it's kindof comical, i mean hardcore gangster thugs with morrisseys portrait across their back. overall, morrissey can be a little much, and i dont listen like i used to. the smiths were that band that put everything into perspective for me when i was a teenager and for that they will always be one of my favorites.
