The Grand Prix d’Amour is a Love Song Competition happening every year in Berlin since 2000. The concept is very simple:
I invite about 15 performers to perform a lovesong or whatever they call a lovesong .A lovesong can be anything the performer considers to be a lovesong.
At the beginning one person of the audience will be elected randomly to be the jury. A very unfair jury just like the love itself.
The jury gets a bottle of champagne.
The jury will be asked if she or he is willing to listen to all the love songs and elect the love song of the night.
At the end the winner of the competition gets a big buckett filled with delicious food and wine.
