Tinie Tempah has received rave reviews in The New York Times and The Guardian, featured on MTV's Spanking new music, jumped on tracks with M.I.A, Jay Sean, Sway, Chipmunk, Ironik and Wiley, freestyled for Tim Westwood, had an A- Listed record at Kiss, Choice, 1Xtra, Galaxy and been mentioned by some of the U.K's Top Bloggers (Chantell Fiddy, Dj Semtex, Channel 4). We expect big things in 2009 for this young man so catch him while you can!
Known far and wide on the battle scene, Professor Green is back with a vengeance with the all new ‘Green EP'. Following a year out of the scene wrangling to get his masters back from Warner (where he was signed to Mike Skinners now defunct label), expect quick fire, intelligent rhymes and a great live show.
Formed just under a year ago, Fuzzy Logic are a live grime, punk, ska and dubstep band from East London. Already garnering an enviable live following from their energetic shows, their first EP ‘The Big Bang' hits online stores in June followed by a series of festival dates over the summer.
Perhaps best know for the funky house anthem ‘Tell Me', Katy B is about to unleash a whole new sound on her already substantial fan base. This will be her first live event showcasing material from an eagerly awaited album. With major label deals already in the offering, watch this sassy south London lady fly.
At only 18, Young Nate definitely looks and sounds like a star in the making. Signed to SoundBwoy Entertainment, his mature lyrics about love and relationships and smooth tone have earned him comparisons to US R&B superstar, Usher. His underground hit ‘Mixed Messages' generated an incredible 80,000 plays on youtube and stellar support from The UK's urban radio community. He will be performing brand new single 'I Wonder' (already played by Trevor Nelson on Radio 1) and tracks from the forth coming album.
The 60-second open mic is open to anyone and is actually the quickest way to get a slot on ILUVLIVE. Anyone can sign up on the night and the most popular act with the audience wins a coveted slot at the following month's show playing live with the ILUVLIVE band. We only have eight open mic slots per event so ensure you sign up early on the night.
Twin B is back on hosting duties with Twin B two (yes there really are two on them) on the decks.
