Description
Op de Irrational Library avonden kan je altijd vanalles verwachten en ditmaal heeft de avond het motto "heavy, heavier, heaviest!'. En dat mag ook wel als de bands MÜHR, CATHODE en THE LUCKY STRIKES op de planken staan.
Rising from the ashes of what once was 'Gaping Mould' and 'Dark Canard', there is MÜHR. Inspired by footballer ‘Frits Flinkervleugel’ (leftwing defender and
11 time Dutch international) they try to combine the forces of doom and psychedelica with subsonic thunders.
Agressive, brutal and dark hardcore from Holland. CATHODE remind us bands like Catharsis, Remains Of The Day and His Hero Is Gone, on their new album they present 8 songs, sung in English, an apocalyptic sound with negative perspectives. Booklet includes all lyrics and even the portuguese translation.
THE LUCKY STRIKES staan voor ketting rokende, bier drinkende, bare knuckle blues. De van oorsprong Texaanse zanger en gitarist Mr. Boogaloo verhuisde naar Europa en voegde zich samen met Ierse drinker, sorry, drummer Edd Beat. Het duo speelt sindsdien een fijne mix van blues, trash, surf en onvervalsde rock 'n roll.
