Now in its third year Be @ Proud redefined London's club scene with its unique mix of indie, disco, electro and rock n' roll, spectacular live acts, performance art and burlesque. From Mystery Jets to Friendly Fires, Au Revoir Simone to Ebony Bones, Be has showcased many of the most exciting new bands around today, and seen the likes of New Young Pony Club, Annie, Munk, Disco Bloodbath and Rory Phillips all take turns on the decks.

Special guests playing this week:

French Horn Rebellion
French Horn Rebellion is a disco-electro-rock brother duo currently holed up in Brooklyn, NY. Having discovered a lack of love for his original instrument of choice, the french horn, within modern music circles, younger brother Robert teamed up with sibling David to create a sound much more palatable to today's modern discotheques.

Having previously produced and remixed tracks for the likes of MGMT and Empire of the Sun, the brothers are now making a name for themselves with their own brand of psychedelic electro pop.

NewIslands
NewIslands are a West Midlands Indie/Electro duo featuring former frontman of The Departure, David Jones, and producer Luke Shoesmith. Together they make beautifully bittersweet pop that sounds a bit like The Cure might if they were just starting out again today. With lovelorn lyrics peppered over fuzzy washes of synths and crisp electronic beats NewIslands provide the perfect soundtrack to heartbreak and dancing.

Cutting edge live music and performance art collide in a 'carefree, carnival atmosphere' (Time Out - Feb '09)

Disco Electronica, Post-Punk and Electro in Room 1 from The Be-Team DJs / Live visuals by Fat Butcher

50s Swing, Rock n Roll and Northern Soul in South Gallery from DJ Bioux and friends

Doors: 7.30pm - 2.30pm
