FREE SHOW presented by WUAG. From Jack Bonney: "Once again we have bands from the great Olympia Washington coming to grace Greensboro with their unique indie senses. Karl Blau's new album is currently in rotation and it is perhaps his best. His vocal style combined with Afrobeat inspired horns and funk makes him one of a kind. Lake is another K Records band that is gaining a strong following. Coming right from the K Records website it says - "playbook of the good parts of Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Turkish psychedelic music. Caressing the Rhodes piano, endearing drum fills, guitars that dont sound like guitars, and some slamming bass lines". Americans in France are from Chapel Hill and they rock it in a retro indie style. More on this show to come, but mark your calendars for now."
