Enur is the duo behind the infectious anthem ‘Calabria’ that has dominated radio and sales charts and dance floors worldwide in 2007, selling 500,000 copies in the US alone and garnering millions of views on YouTube. Comprised of brothers Rune Reilly Kolsch and Johannes Torpe, the pair have built a devoted worldwide following over the last few years, with series of releases spanning multiple genres and pseudonyms. Originally a hip hop producer, Rune became fed up with blunt smoking lazy rappers that never showed up on time for sessions. After deciding to work alone, he discovered house music and began collaborating with Johannes. This led to the single "Together", which was nominated for the Top 10 tracks of 2002 by DJ Mag, and then "Calabria" in 2003, in its first version as an instrumental. Remakes with vocals provided by Danish singer Natasja Saad (Calabria 2007) and MIMS ("Calabria 2008") have topped dance charts from Europe to the US. In 2009, Enur released their first full-length album of 10 tracks that combines their unique production skills with the featured vocals of some of reggae and R&B's most established veterans -- as well as some rising stars.

In addition to having production credentials, Rune has established himself as a legitimate and infectiously energetic DJ. Not one to stand po-faced against a wall in a club, Rune believes that many DJs have forgotten where they came from - "they used to be in front of the speakers dancing and screaming along with everybody else" - and once in awhile he still knocks the needle off the records during his sets because he is dancing so much. Having won ‘best DJ of the year’ 4 years in a row in his home country Denmark, Rune is known for his unique blend of classics and new releases. His technique is beyond just playing the tracks. You’ll see him adding accapellas, and his sets consist mainly of special edits created for the occasion. Rune believes that it’s important to deliver a show, so there is a lot of action behind the decks.
