Karen Matheson - the voice of Capercaillie - will release her much anticipated new solo album in October 2010. It further highlights her stunning vocals that have mesmerized audiences world wide with its mix of traditional and newly written material.This concert will feature her regular band of James Grant on guitars, Ewen Vernal on double bass, Donald Shaw on piano along with special guest musicians from the new recording.

Widely recognised as the haunting vocals of Celtic super-group Capercaillie, Karen has been involved in various projects as a solo artist including the award winning BBC series Transatlantic Sessions where she has recorded with Emmylou Harris, Rufus and Martha Wainwright amongst others.
