German musicians have been a part of the New York Jazz scene for decades, and these days the crop is better than ever. See and hear some of today´s best vocalists and instrumentalists in two sessions at one of the world´s greatest jazz clubs. Among others, pianist "Vana" Gierig, bass players Iris Ornig, and Martin Wind, guitarist Sebastian Noelle, drummers Philipp Gutbrod and Christian Finger, and harmonica player Hendrik Meurkens take the stage at the legendary Iridium, joined by singers Micaela Leon and Karen Kohler. Other players are Maximilian Schweiger and piano player Axel Schwintzer.
