Description
Seasonal Affective Disorder is about to get a ruddy good kicking. Yes, the nights may have drawn in with winter's ugly head front and centre, but such darkness doesn't dim the technicoloured delights of ILL FIT from returning with yet another line-up of spell-binding pop brilliance for the month of November.
Bringing a much needed dose of last minute sunshine all the way from Ballarat, Australia come the frankly incredible GOLD FIELDS. Although relative newcomers to the UK, they're consistently selling out shows in their homeland and are surely to do the same over here come 2011. Fusing together the euphoric joy of Friendly Fires, Miike Snow and Delphic but with an added Antipodean twist; we're super thrilled to be hosting one of their first UK shows.
The onslaught doesn't stop there either. As well as secret guests who just so happen to be amongst our favourite acts of the year, headlining the evening are MOTORIFIK - a side project of Working For A Nuclear Free City producer/songwriter Phil Kay and French songwriter Idrisse Khelifi. The duo produce densely detailed pop songs that sound like beams of light bouncing between Suicide, Deerhunter, MBV and Spiritualized.
Kicks off at 19:30, rolls on ’till 12am with free entry all night long.
