Description

Polestar is the alter ego of Jon Elliott from Bristol. His music can best be described as melodic electronic music; fusing together complex beat patterns with warm and atmospheric synthesizer tones. In the quest to find new and exciting sounds, Jon arms himself with a mini disc recorder and microphone as he travels about. www.boltfish.co.uk

Zainetica is musician and Rednetic founder Mark Streatfield. Zainetica's sound concentrates on a great hyvbrid of styles using crunchy rhythmic elements, synthetic chord sounds and a healthy nod to the Motor City which fuels most of his tracks. He is currenly finishing an album for Rednetic and Enpeg and working on EPs for Herb, Xynethic and Elpa. His next release is for smallfish. www.rednetic.com

Dan Havers, aka DJ Samurai, began rolling out dnb on DJ Kid's Restless Natives imprint in 2004. Not long after a brief encounter with Andy C brought him and DJ Kryptik to the RAM camp, where the partnership was set in stone under the DC Breaks moniker. Having had releases on Frequency and High Lite the duo have now set up DC Breaks Recs with the RAM crew, an exclusive imprint for their own sound. DCBR001 hit the shelves last month with a re-press on the way, and DCBR002 is receiving plenty of heavyweight support from leading DJs across the scene - stay tuned to hear exclusive previews of all releases. Future releases include collaborations with CTRL Z's DJ Dash, Colony Productions' Diagoro (Abstrakt Knights), as well as an exclusive remix of Aquasky's classic 'Sucker Punch'.
