Description
Sydney band The Holidays have announced they’ll be taking their dreamy, palm tree jams on the road again with a national headline tour in April. The band’s self produced, debut album ‘Post Paradise’ has proven a critic favourite, ending last year by picking up The Age EG award for ‘Best Album’ and landing the year’s final Triple J Feature Album. The album also received ‘Album of the Week’ in Drum Media, Beat Magazine, BMA Mag & The Brag, while Post Paradise has already delivered alternative radio favourites Broken Bones, Golden Sky and Moonlight Hours. Having kicked off the New Year with massive shows with UK indie darlings Mystery Jets, The Holidays will be heading out nationally in February with the Laneway Festival (alongside Yeasayer, Cut Copy, Local Natives, Gotye), before embarking on their first ever US dates, including multiple performances at SXSW in Austin. Special guests on the forthcoming national tour will be Ballarat’s Gold Fields who have also been scoring widespread radio support for their debut single Treehouse.
