Born out of a love for Phil Spector, New Order and the Jesus and Mary Chain, Mahogany produce the soundtrack to our wi-fi urban life. The new LP "Connectivity" (out very soon in the UK on T&F) features three songs produced by Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) including the entrancing hi-bpm video single “Supervitesse.” Mahogany's live show employs three guitars, shimmering with stereo reverb, chorus and delay effects; two bass guitars interweaving dub and strummed rhythms; live drums, acoustic and electronic percussion; four-part vocal harmony and synchronous video projection to massive, dynamic, orchestral effect.
