From the gritty basements of East London to the beaches of the Balearics: disco has been enjoying an extended sweaty revival for a good minute now. To celebrate, the Red Bull Music Academy brings arguably the most influential band in the history of the genre to Madrid’s original disco cathedral. Nile Rodgers and CHIC, live on stage at the Kapital. The night will be topped off by mysterious mirrorball mavericks, Tiger & Woods, the duo who induced a whole new generation of club-goers to the sounds that CHIC spearheaded. Also on deck: Madrid collective Wonky, hosts to the sweetest disco sessions in town. Yowsah!
