As the driving force behind Oasis he did everything you can do in music. But never before has NOEL GALLAGHER played BIG DAY OUT – that all changes this summer when NOEL GALLAGHER'S HIGH FLYING BIRDS make their Australian debut.
For the past two decades, his songs have stitched themselves into the fabric of our lives. And GALLAGHER knows it, swearing to never let a gig pass without playing a few Oasis classics. “I’m proud of them and of what they mean to people.” Therefore, NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS will be bringing not only their brand new material (“the best collection of Noel Gallagher tunes since his 'Morning Glory’ days” - The Telegraph****), they will also bring a host of the some of the most loved rock anthems of the last 20 plus years; classics like ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ etc will feature in the set.
“Right now I’m more interested in something that’s a little more intimate and human,” he recently told Spin. The High Flying Birds recent debut shows in Europe saw “A second coming, powered by an elated crowd having titanic moments on the balconies and singing every word” (London Evening Standard ****). Clearly Noel is connecting with the crowds in a very big way.
