"LIVE"

THE SMOKIN' BARRELS three lads from Newcastle, play a brash fusion of punk and rock and roll which is really causing people to sit up and take notice. Noel Gallagher has tipped the boys for big things - "They've got something… a bit like Kasabian and a bit like Oasis. What's not to like?” - and are supporting Mr Big at his Newcastle Arena show on Feb 23rd.

And completing the bill, north London four-piece RUSTY BOAT play edgy, scratchy, punk-tinged indie-rock full of the kind of life-affirming melodies The Libertines used to do so well.
