BEN NASH

Experimental musician and sound engineer, hailing originally from Liskeard, Cornwall but currently based in London. He is a sometime member of Chora and occasionally records in a duo with Sophie Cooper. Releases on Blackest Rainbow, Sloow Tapes, Open Range and Aurora Borealis as well as his own Recollections of Knulp imprint. His new album 'Oh Lordy Me! (My Heart is Wandering Again)' see's him moving into a purely electronic territory, showcasing his compositional talent using a Tenori On. Be sure to catch Ben as this is his first solo, London gig in over three years. a rare treat...

JACK ALLETT

A skilled British guitarist formerly known as Spoono and 1 half of avant-innovators Towering Breaker. 'The Collapsing Middle' was released last year on Blackest Rainbow Records and is considered by many to be his best, most accomplished work to date. He can sometimes be seen collaborating with touring partner Cam Deas live and on record to great acclaim, their 'Outgrowing The Wretched Cradle' lp was also released to much praise in 2011. Allett is a talented & versatile musician and always a joy to experience live.

Ben Morris and Rob Lye's long term collaborative project moving between large acoustic ensemble improvisations to the duo electronics of their earlier records.
'Chora’s sound touches on a bunch of instant-music strategies, referencing world music modes, free jazz, the dense scattershot style of Aster, the primitive string drones of Chie Mukai...Pointillist violence...Junkyard gamelan...'

HESSDALEN

Mystery solo project of designer/artist/musician James Taylor. Using field recordings gathered on his travels around the globe, from Mongolian yurt encounters to Hong Kong hustle and bustle he weaves an electronic environment with analog synth, fx pedals, samples and lapsteel.
