Description
To kick off a year of 10 year anniversary celebrations Soundway Records announce the first of several special events happening around the world this year. Taking place in a secret East London warehouse venue on 20th April , ‘Dancing Time With Soundway: 10 year anniversary party’ will see the unstoppable Quantic celebrating the release of his latest cumbia project ‘Los Miticos Del Ritmo’ and Portuguese / Angolan Batida, who will be bringing his electric live show to London for the first time featuring dancers, MCs, VJ, live samples and percussion. Batida’s eponymous debut album comes out on 26th March through Soundway Records.
Soundway head honcho Miles Cleret and Sofrito’s Frankie Francis will be keep the tropical madness going until the small hours, digging into their sizeable record collections to spin the hottest in Afro, Latin and tropical dance music.
