Description

Up2Beat Productions present another edition of their brilliant Bass Heaven party and they have pulled a Christmas cracker of a line up out of the stocking. The finest purveyors of the bass scene line up for this Xmas party.

Playing all genres of bass music from old school jungle , dnb , reggae, hip hop, garage, dubstep & dub they will present DJs, MCs, singers, live PAs, scratching, beatboxing and more. Both rooms will be alive with heavy bass and the shock waves will be felt for miles around.

The Line up:

Congo Natty
Aka Rebel MC, this junglist legend has dedicated his life to his music and craft. Announcing himself to the world in the 80's as hip hop/dance act Double Trouble, Rebel has come a long way using the success in these early days to concentrate in developing his music that was more representative of his background and influences. Creating dub basslines alongside techno sound and integrating reggae artists in the process was a major factor in the development of the Jungle sound.

Tenor Fly
Local boy Tenor Fly began his career with Lloyd Coxsone's International Sound System. He has collaborated with an extraordinary amount of artists including Congo Natty, Top Cat, Ragga Twins, Pendulam and many more.

Reggae Roast
Known as possibly the finest purveyors of Reggae currently working the clubs in London and beyond.They one of the most vibrant, new reggae collectives in the UK. Since 2007 they have played club shows at pretty much every major venue in the UK, performed at Glastonbury, Bestival, Outlook, Camp Bestival, SGP & Big Chill, hosted the prestigious room 3 take-over at Fabric and promoted over 100 sell-out shows in the capital.

DJ Spoony
One of the most legendary Garage DJs around. Although known for a somewhat celebrity status, he comes from the underground and was as the forefront of the garage scene in the latter part of the 90's.

Nicky Blackmarket
Possibly one of D&B's most well known DJs and part owner of the world famous Blackmarket Records. DJing since the 80's, he is one of the original pioneers of the D&B sound

Congo Dubz
The son of junglist legend Congo Natty aka Rebel MC, Congo Dubz was born into the pride with Jungle already deep inside his heart and pumping through his veins. Raised with and by Jungle royalty, Congo Dubz is the main man behind the decks of all Congo Natty shows worldwide.

Klashnekoff
Darren Kandler, better known by his Stage name Klashnekoff (pronounced K-Lash-Nek-Off) or Ricochet Klashnekoff, is a Jamaican-English Rapper from Stoke Newington, London. His debut album, The Sagas Of..., includes the singles "Murda" He was nominated for the 2007 BET award for best U.K. Hip-Hop artist
