Boy oh boy, this is big… The infamous What Happens clan takes over Culture Box with a truly monstrous lineup, showing why it's widely regarded as Copenhagen's leading monthly house night.
Tom Budden has earned a position as one of the most exciting names in dance music. Not only releasing on his own Alive Recordings, but also on Culprit, Suara and Time Has Changed plus remixing James Zabiela, Danny Howells, Groove Armada and for Digweed's Bedrock, Tom has patiently build a reputation as an in-demand DJ and producer. And taking the long term, focussed approach to his passion is now paying off big time. A lynchpin of South England’s house music mafia, Tom’s deep house and rolling tech-house sounds are seeing his name regularly mentioned in the same breath as the guys who were his early inspiration. With a string of seriously high profile gigs at UK clubs including Ministry of Sound, Sankeys, Shindig, matter at the 02 and Cocoon at The End, his international profile has truly taken off in recent years too, smashing it in European clubs and touring Australia and Asia. This is Tom Budden's first gig ever in Denmark and it's set to be special.
The warm up set comes courtesy of Tim Andresen. The What Happens boss is one of the key players in the Danish underground club scene and has a long list of releases on many of the premier record labels. He is also one of just a few Danish DJs with truly international reach and has taken his music to more than 35 countries and some of the most mythic dance floors on the planet.
Our newly built Red Box is hosted by Soulmagic, playing a special allnighter. The guys take a week off from their hectic international tour schedule and take good care of friends and followers at home ground with one of their rare performances in Denmark and their much anticipated Culture Box debut. They have just been snapped by the legendary Strictly Rhythm label taking them to a whole new level. Expect big things!
Free Heineken bar from 23-24 is included in the entry and to get things started early, the official preparty is on from 21.00 at Cocktail Box with WH favorite Steffen H and Monsieur Henry & Yesper back to back.
