Description
16 hours of incredible artists over 2 venues and 3 rooms makes Holic New Years Eve event the largest in East London and not to be missed. Holic's Tomoki Tamura will be playing in the main warehouse in the Old Truman Brewary where underground house, electronica and techno is the order of the day and will be joined by a stunning line up including Mike Huckaby, Kate Simko (Live), DJ Steaw and many more.
Next door at Cafe 1001 will be mixing up the genres over both rooms with some old skool beats alongside new creative thinking that will see this massive event shaking the foundations of Brick Lane until 12pm on New Years Day.
Mike Huckaby
This Detroit legend is the man behind the once legendary Record Time store and has an encyclopedic knowledge of music. He is a person who can see beyond the hype and divisions within the scene, and knows the balance between deep house and techno like no other. We are hugely honored to have Mike throwing it down for us!
Leftroom's Kate Simko is on hand to deliver a stunning live set. Kate remixed HOLIC TRAX and she twists the Chris Carries original into a delightful bass driven, skipping deep house affair. Since Kate's debut album 'Lights Out' released in last May, her work has developed into a fluid live show, enabling her to quickly transpose new sonic ideas from the studio onto the dance floor.
Completing the guests is DJ Steaw from France. One of our favourite house producers and has put together a slammin’ mix of classic style 90s house with a modern twist especially for the occasion.
