Description
Formed in 1989, Therapy? are an alternative metal band from Northern Ireland. The current line-up consists of guitarist–vocalist Andy Cairns from Ballyclare, drummer Neil Cooper (x-The Beyond, ex-Cable, ex-Gorilla) and bass player Mickael McKeegan (ex-Evil Priest, ex-Sons Of Massey). The band initially recorded their first demo with Cairns filling in on bass guitar. To complete the lineup, the band recruited Larne bassist Michael McKeegan. Therapy? came to attention in the early 1990s rise of alternative rock, peaking around the time of 3rd and 4th albums Nurse and Troublegum, but have endured for two decades since. Although now vanished from the charts and wide media attention, Therapy? continue to release material, gaining enough attention to enable them to tour and entertain a loyal following of fans. Notable crowdpleasers include 'Teethgrinder', 'Screamager' and 'Stop It You're Killing Me' all of which will most likely be played on the night.
