Description
Soundcrash present Detroit’s keyboard and vocal ace, producer, arranger, and composer Amp Fiddler at London’s Rich Mix, 30th October 2014. With one of Neo-soul’s up and coming talents Harleighblu in the supporting slot, this show is 100% unmissable. Be there!
Amp is a living legend of neo-soul and contemporary R&B, having toured with George Clinton’s P-funk and credited for introducing the late Dilla to the Akai MPC, he has been making music for the better part of the past three decades and after a short break he’s back, and he’s more soulful than ever!
Having been missing in action for the past few years, Amp Fiddlers latest release Basementality 2 is a welcomed return. The 6 track EP features a duet with Raphael Saadiq and two remixes, adding that extra edge. Fiddler oozes cool, funk and feel-good soul out of every pore so expect nothing less for his new live show.
Harleighblu, the Nottingham soulstress will open the show with her new live set-up. Signed to Brighton’s Tru Thoughts label and her debut album ‘Forget me not’ released at the end of 2013, there seems to be no stopping this girl! Her smooth, yet powerful vocals have already made an impact on the UK soul/ R&B scene and she is showing no signs of slowing down!
