Our March Converse Red Light Session brings you Dream Koala (FR) and BEA (NL).
Yndi Ferreira, the electronic artist behind Dream Koala, sings in a delicate falsetto that slowly builds in urgency as he adds layers of electronic samples to more traditional instrumental elements. His music is dreamy and otherworldly, transporting the you to a state not dissimilar to lucid dreaming!
Born and raised here in Amsterdam to English parents, Bea1991's musical influences hark back to the Bristol music scene of the 90s. Her sound often described "like nothing else" is vaporous, uneasy, disarmingly off-kilter and carries a haunting earworm of a melody.
Alongside Dream Koala & BEA, we have Amsterdam duo Know V.A. on the decks.
