AL LOVER:

"In short, Al Lover is a producer from San Francisco, but there's more layers to his wall of sound then meets the ear. Over the last few years he has gained much notoriety for his melding of contemporary and past garage and psychedelic rock into spaced out abrasive beats. Often compared to producers like Edan, J-dilla and Gaslamp Killer, Al gravitates towards a sound composed of crunchy drums, shaky percussion, chopped samples and layers of textured effects building on the psychedelic music of the past and present."

KASSASSIN STREET:

A band who sell out their shows, their fans knowing that when they go to a Kassassin Street gig they’ll be transported for an hour of twisted, dance infused
psychadelia. A busy summer followed, seeing the band travel out to Isle Of Wight Festival, Truck, and Bestival, where they gave “one of the standout performances of the weekend’ (eFestivals). The band also played celebrated indie club night This Feeling, and appeared at Club NME at Koko in support of Saint Motel. Their festival season finished with triumphant homecoming slots at Victorious Festival and Southsea Fest, the latter being described as “a truly spectacular performance” (Vulture Hound).

ONE UNIQUE SIGNAL:

One Unique Signal were last seen at Liverpool Psych Fest 2014 playing a set described by Dom Gourley for Drowned in Sound as “one of the weekend’s highlights. Fusing elements of noise, metal and shoegaze with a penchant for Germanic grooves, they played a set full of life affirming vitality.”

YOU’RE SMILING NOW BUT WE’LL ALL TURN INTO DEMONS:

After years in the wilderness Portsmouth's biker/psych/drone shamen You're Smiling Now But We'll All Turn Into Demons are back with their first new material in over 5 years. Population IV is the sound of a band that knows exactly who they are and what they want to do and that's to grind our teeth to powder. Massive slabs of sun baked dirges, dark and mesmerizing laced with some serious shredding guitar freakouts rub up against middle eastern jams that make the Demons soar and the heart of Population IV heavy. Recorded direct to analogue tape, Population IV is a potent swirl of Sabbath strength Hammer House riffs, fuzz rama-lama and apocalyptic blues.
