ZOOKEEPER is the new project from Chris Simpson, frontman of Mineral and The Gloria Record. They play a rustic variety a lo-fi indie pop, and are on tour from Austin Texas.
RETROSLEEPER is a lady-fronted amped-down indie pop thing from Allston. They are back in full-band action, and may not be so amped-down anymore. new album soonsies!
ARMS AND SLEEPERS play moody downtempo electronica with dangerous levels of ambience and trip hop. Plus live visuals! New album out (in europe LOL) in time for this show.
SPARROWHAWK & THE WOOLY MAMMOTH DIED are the alter egos of Steven and Tim from Boston-area shipwreck pop band Antiques. They will each be playing a short set of material that Antiques hasn't gotten their hands on yet. I've been promised that this is an official play-off, and at the end of the night the loser will be executed.
