“Every time you go on tour you want it to be different, and every time it is, usually because you have a new album out that you want to play people. Make no mistake, that can be fun, because you have to work out how to play all the complicated stuff you did in the studio. But there was a time when things were the other way around, when we worked stuff out on the road and trying to capture lightning in a bottle was a studio problem for later on. This time, in addition to playing all the songs you know, we wanted to remember that seat-of-your-pants feeling experienced in the wake of Ágætis Byrjun when for two years we tested to destruction the songs that would go on to form the ( ) album. In this spirit, we are pleased to announce that we are playing festivals next summer in the spirit of adventure, and all we can say right now is it’s going to be different, with new unreleased songs, a new show and more. Beyond that, we can only ask you to trust us on this one.” – sigur rós

James Vincent McMorrow’s critically-acclaimed second record ‘Post Tropical’ (Album Of The Week at BBC Radio 1 and 6Music) was voted into albums of the year by readers of The Guardian and The Irish Times. Following 18 months of continuous touring on a sold-out European tour, dates across the US and Sydney Opera House (two sold out shows) including some of the world’s biggest festivals (Latitude, Electric Picnic, Coachella), he is now working on the highly anticipated album No.3. 'Post Tropical’ followed James Vincent McMorrow’s platinum-selling number 1 debut album, ‘Early in the Morning’ - both albums were nominated for the Choice Music Prize.
