Back once again with the renegade master! Cold Callers and Comfortable on a Tightrope are very happy to be playing host to Gauche.

GAUCHE (US)

Featuring members of Priests and Downtown Boys, Gauche play rattling post-punk dance numbers that recall Delta 5 grooviness and the helterskelter clatter of Desperate Bicycles:

Taking elements of Young Marble Giants, ESG (who they have played with) and Grass Widow, the DC band inject an explosive energy into songs about fraught relationships, a dependency on technology and social media and unfair working conditions. (Vice)

Fuzz-tinged slacker rock, hailing from Athens, Geogia.Their latest 7", Wigwam, invokes Superchunk poppiness (there's a cover of 'Slack Motherfucker' on here) with nods towards Husker Du and, on the title track, a bit of The Gun Club.
