The Dead C bildades 1987 i Port Arthur, Nya Zealand. Bandet har alltid bestått av samma sättning med två gitarrer och trummor; Bruce Russell, Michael Morley och Robbie Yeats. Dom har ständigt utmanat gränserna mellan rock och fri improvisation och har nått en internationell publik genom sitt underjordiska arbete. Nu kommer nya plattan "Rare Ravers" på Ba Da Bing Records och man gör en kort turné i Norden, inklusive sin första spelning i Sverige, och enda denna gång.
