Гръцките dark/cold wave минималисти Selofan ще направят концерт в София на 12.04.2024.

Дуото на Joanna и Dimitris е основано през 2012. Към онзи момент DJ и звуков инженер те се срещат в атински клуб. Създават Selofan - любовна история вдъхновенна от тъмната естетика. Текстовете на различни езици са на Joanna, музиката с характерни бас линии, ритъм от дръм машина и отнесени мелодии на саксофон са дело на Dimitris. Експерименталното търсене е заложено в шестте им издадени албума, съчетано с импровизация и театрален елемент на живо. Дуото от Атина е със солиден статут сред новата вълна на post punk сцената.

Joanna и Dimitris са създатели и куратори на Fabrika Records. Лейбълът е дом на лидерите Lebanon Hanover и She Past Away, и на други обещаващи артисти.

Концертът в София е на 12-ти април от 20:00ч. в клуб Live&Loud, билети в системата на ePayGo+link.

Selofan bio:
Selofan is a death-inspired love-story. The duo was formed 2012 in Athens. From the
beginning they created their own musical environment and every time they offer us a
glimpse into it, we become overwhelmed by the emotional intensity of their sound and words. In the last seven years they gave us five studio albums, each one of them possessing its own unique identity. Selofan avoid the comfort of settling in one sound style and just keep experimenting. Dreamy saxophone melodies find their way through strong drum machine beats, a new wave bass riff and powerful haunted female vocals, singing or storytelling in different languages and presenting themselves in such a theatrical way, that each live performance is emotionally overwhelming. Selofan have their own musical and aesthetical identity, underlined by their artwork and videos and are meanwhile a household name among the fans of the genre.
