Quando a atmosfera e o músculo do sludge se encontram com a violência do hardcore, sabemos que quebrar pescoços é uma constante da equação que temos perante nós. Os Downfall of Gaia acrescentam a estas contas um conceito cuja única variável é, mesmo, de que forma nos vão virar do avesso. A violência inerente à sua música é a expressão da beleza caótica sempre presente no mais recente disco Silhouettes of Disgust, que a banda alemã trará a Portugal mais de dez anos depois de se terem estreado no Amplifest 2013. Na primeira parte, os catalães Syberia com o seu post instrumental para apresentar o mais recente Statement on Death.

To actually watch a sludgy and atmospheric groove meet the lust for chaos in the beautiful and theatrical ways of black metal and hardcore is something to witness at least once in life. Downfall of Gaia with their opus Silhouettes of Disgust have been providing the perfect chance to break our necks just by headbanging vigorously in the ecstasy of the blast beat; to reach out in mayhem and bend our spines with the heaviest and most intense breakdowns. Their last record made it all clear: the Hamburg-based outfit have the world on their feet and are willing to crash it. In a nutshell, we shall expect nothing less from their upcoming shows more than 10 years after their Portuguese debut at Amplifest.

Both nights will open with the catalans Syberia, they will present their latest Statement on Death.
