Sigur Rós og Elja kammersveit

Sigur Rós has announced that the band is on its way to a tour of the Nordic countries, where the band will perform together with a forty-one-person string orchestra conducted by Robert Ames.

The tour will end with a concert in Reykjavík where Sigur Rós will perform together with the chamber ensemble Elja in Hörpa's Eldborgarsal. Songs from the new album, ÁTTA, will be performed, as well as many others from the collection, and the program spans the entire history of the band.
