The vibes are real nice and the mood lush tonight with a lineup of crate-diggers and heads who have mensa-level musical knowledge. NYC’s Niyah West kicks off up top gently with some immaculate selections of heart-bursting deep house tracks transitioned butter-smooth into raging techno, percolating the rest of the night’s BPM with precision. Next up, the Chicago-born DC-based Juana pulls inspirations from the two cities and bridges the gaps between their respective jacking and deep house styles for impassioned, euphoric sets. Chicago veteran Mike Dearborn steps in for the headlining slot and with him comes nearly 40 years of experience behind the decks. Down below, moody, dark synth-wave party Synthicide takes over with founder Andi and the prince of industrial, Kris Baha, behind the decks.
