Description
With a new album "Zaragon"; John sought to build on the expectations of the crowds and his popularity, but possibly the release didn't work out as well as hoped. Standout tracks were"Music", "Nice Man Jack", "Stranger in the City" and the aforementioned "Zaragon".
Support act Johnny Cougar nee Mellancamp was actually booed off stage,resulting in an exasperated response "let me play one more ..... song and I will go" before launching into "I Need A Lover"! Which was later a minor hit in the UK - a pity the audience weren't a bit more receptive.
