The Plan B Magazine Review of 2008
In a year which saw releases by Abe Vigoda, Asva, The Bug, Fuck Buttons, Glass Candy, Portishead, Lil’ Wayne, Lykke Li, Marnie Stern, Metronomy, Nas and Wild Beasts, Plan B was there every step of the way; commenting, reviewing, illuminating, propagating, celebrating and gestating sights and sounds, of which sometimes left us contented, delighted and enchanted, and others depressed, dismayed and disappointed. Plan B’s 2008 review will be a sonic celebration, in records, of the year’s best by some of the country’s most respected music critics, including Louis Pattison (Plan B Editor, Observer, NME), John Doran (Plan B, Stool Pigeon, Quietus, Metal Hammer) and Ben Webster (Plan B’s Head of Events, Nude Magazine). Burn off that festive tyre and dance those post-Christmas blues away with the sound of Plan B’s 2008 review.
