The Viva La Vida Tour

Singapore (February 9, 2009) – Coldplay will be performing in Singapore as part of the Viva La Vida tour on Monday, March 23, 2009. This will be the third time that the multi Grammy Awards band is playing in Singapore, with two sell-out concerts here previously. Tickets will go on sale on 9am, Monday, February 16.

After surfacing in 2000 with the breakthrough single "Yellow", Coldplay quickly became one of the biggest bands of the new millennium. The band’s current album Viva La Vida is the most commercially successful rock album released this decade.

Sweeping up three major awards at the 51st Grammy Awards, Coldplay picked up Best Rock Album, Song of the Year (Viva La Vida), and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals. The band is also leading at the 2009 BRITS Awards with nominations including British Album, British Group, British Live Act, and British single (Viva La Vida).

Coldplay will be performing a one-night-only show in Singapore with limited tickets available. This is definitely the concert of the year not to be missed!
