Description
The unique celebration of Freedom taking place in Hull will see the city come to life with live performances of chart-topping music, international art installations, colourful dance displays and the awesome sight of a fleet of Clipper yachts beginning their round-the-world journey.
This free three-day cultural extravaganza will consist of a range of music acts - including indie, pop and jazz stars - which will grace three main stages around the city centre over the weekend.
Saturday 12th September
Love Music Hate Racism hosted by The Warren from 12:30 until 17:00
Featuring special guests The King Blues, Chipmunk, The Paddingtons, EndOfLevelBaddie, Novacaine, Counting Coins plus lots more.
Freedom Goes POP! hosted by Viking FM from 17:30 until 21:30
Featuring special guests Pixie Lott, JLS, Peter Andre, Basshunter plus lots more to be announced.
Sunday 13th September
BBC Raw Talent hosted by Alan Raw from 12:00 until 17:00
Featuring Ellen and the Escapades, Mr Beasley, Horseguards Parades, Fonda 500 and Silent Film Project
Freedom Festival Headliners from 17:30 until 21:00
Featuring Florence and the Machine with a very special guest, Patrick Wolf.
